Dr. Sharad K. Pasale obtained his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Rome, Italy, in 2014; M.Sc. (organic chemistry) from Maulana Azad Research Center of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, in 2006; and B.Sc. (chemistry) from Dayanand College Solapur in 2004. After his higher studies (MSc & PhD), he has worked at the National Chemical Laboratory, CSIR, Pune, as a research associate. During his doctoral research, he worked closely with Oxford University. He is the recipient of many awards and professional and social recognitions. He has several scientific publications in reputed international journals, to his credit. He is currently working as an assistant professor of chemistry at Thakur College of Science and Commerce, Kandivali, Mumbai, India. His research is focused on the synthesis of heterocycles, polymers, and soft materials.

Dr. Arjun S. Chavan earned his M.Sc. degree in chemistry from Shivaji University, Kolhapur, followed by a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from IIT Bombay, India, in 2012 under the guidance of Prof. S. Kotha. He subsequently pursued postdoctoral research at National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, working with Prof. S. C. Chuang. Currently, he serves as an assistant professor in the department of chemistry at Thakur College of Science and Commerce, Kandivali (E), Mumbai, India. His research interests encompass synthetic method development, green chemistry, recyclable catalysts in organic synthesis, and nanocatalysis.

Author Guidelines
Advent Publishing serves as an ideal international platform to publish book chapters in edited books. Maintaining high academic and production standards is our priority. Manuscripts received would be thoroughly assessed. The accepted manuscript will undergo copyediting, typesetting, and review of the resulting proof before it is published online on the Advent Publishing website in its final form.
The manuscript should be prepared in Microsoft Word. It must be typed in A4 size (font size 12) in 1.5 space in single column with at least one-inch margin on all sides. Authors should submit a single word file that contains the following information:
- Title of the Chapter (Times New Roman 12; Bold, Capital; Justify)
- Authors Mark * for the Corresponding Author(s).
- Affiliations
- E-mail address of Corresponding Author(s)
- Chapter abstract (50 – 200 words) and Keywords
- Introduction
- Chapter text
- References
It should not exceed 10-15 pages
All submitted manuscripts should contain original work neither published previously nor under consideration for publication elsewhere.
The manuscript will be checked for potential plagiarism by the Turnitin originality checking and plagiarism prevention service. The manuscript is sent to editors for review purposes only if the similarity index is below 25%, as per Advent Publishing’s policy.
Manuscript processing and publication fee amounting ₹ 1500/- to be paid only if the manuscript is accepted for publication. (The fee includes an electronic version of the book and an author e-certificate.).
After publication, the book will be made available for purchase on the Advent Publishing Online Bookstore.
