Dr. Jayvardhan Balkhande, is an esteemed zoologist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology at Digambarrao Bindu Arts, Commerce & Science College, Bhokar, District Nanded, Maharashtra. With a distinguished academic background, he secured the Third Merit Rank in M.Sc. Zoology (2009) from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University (SRTMU), Nanded.
Dr. Balkhande brings over 15 years of research expertise in Fishery Science, Freshwater Cage Culture, Limnology, Ornithology, and Environmental Biology. His prolific scholarly contributions include 45 research papers published in reputed national and international journals, four authored books, three edited volumes, and three book chapters. His work has garnered significant recognition, with over 200 citations, an h-index of 7, and an i10-index of 3 on Google Scholar. He also successfully completed a Minor Research Project on “Preparation of Organic Fertilizer from Fish Waste,” funded by SRTM University, Nanded.
A recipient of the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship (2009–2014) from the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi, Dr. Balkhande has been honored with the State-level Late Dr. G. N. Wankhed Memorial Bird Research Award (2022) by Maharashtra Pakshimitra for his contributions to ornithology. His leadership extends to organizing academic events, including two international and four national conferences, alongside presenting 20 papers and participating in over 75 conferences, seminars, and workshops.
Dr. Balkhande serves as an editorial board member and reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals and is a life member of Maharashtra Pakshimitra (Amravati), the Asian Biological Research Foundation (Prayagraj, U.P.), and the International Journal of Life Sciences. His dedication to advancing zoological research and education underscores his significant contributions to the scientific community.

Dr. V. Jalander is an accomplished botanist and academician specializing in Plant Pathology, Mycology, Plant Taxonomy, Medicinal Botany, and Biodiversity. He earned his Ph.D. in Botany (Plant Pathology) from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded, Maharashtra, India. Since 2014, Dr. Jalander has served as an Assistant Professor in Botany at the postgraduate level at Telangana University, Dichpally, Nizamabad, Telangana.
With over 18 years of research experience, Dr. V. Jalander has made significant contributions to his fields, publishing one authored book, one edited volume, five book chapters, and more than 55 research papers in reputed national and international journals, including novel reports for India. His scholarly work reflects a deep commitment to advancing botanical sciences. Additionally, he brings 13 years of teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, fostering the next generation of scientists.
Dr. V. Jalander was honored with the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi, from 2007 to 2012, recognizing his research excellence. His expertise and dedication make him a valuable contributor to the academic and scientific community.

Advent Publishing provides a distinguished international platform for publishing book chapters in edited volumes, prioritizing high academic and production standards. All submitted manuscripts undergo rigorous evaluation, followed by professional copyediting, typesetting, and proof review before final online publication on the Advent Publishing website.
Manuscript Format and Style
Manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word, formatted as follows:
- Page Layout: A4 size, 1.5 line spacing, single-column layout, with a minimum 1-inch margin on all sides.
- Font: Times New Roman, 12-point font size, unless otherwise specified.
- Content Structure: Submit a single Word document containing:
- Title: Times New Roman, 12-point, bold, capitalized, justified.
- Author Details: Indicate the corresponding author(s) with an asterisk (*), followed by their affiliations and the corresponding author’s email address.
- Abstract: 50–300 words, summarizing the chapter’s content.
- Keywords: 5–10 relevant terms.
- Main Sections: Introduction, chapter text, and conclusion.
- References: Cite references in-text using superscript numbers (e.g., one day.36 The next…). Follow these formats:
- Journal Articles: A. Name, B. Name, and C. Name, Journal Title, year, volume, first page.

Figures, Chemical Structures, and Tables
- Figures: Submit figures at a minimum resolution of 600 dpi and a final size of 20 x 12 cm. Acceptable file formats include TIFF, JPEG, PNG.
- Chemical Structures and Schemes: To incorporate chemical structures and reaction schemes as ChemDraw files within a Microsoft Word document, embed the ChemDraw objects directly or insert them as images. For optimal results and editability, embedding the .cdx or .cdxml files is recommended.
- Tables: Submit tables in Microsoft Word format. Do not submit tables as image files.
Chapter Length
Manuscripts should not exceed 15–20 pages, including all content, references, figures, and tables.
Plagiarism Policy
Submissions must consist of original work, neither previously published nor under consideration elsewhere. All manuscripts are screened using Turnitin for originality. Only manuscripts with a similarity index below 25% are forwarded for editorial review, per Advent Publishing’s policy.
Manuscript Processing and Publication Fee
A processing and publication fee of ₹1,500 is applicable only upon manuscript acceptance. This fee includes:
- An electronic version of the published book.
- An e-certificate for authors.
Publication and Distribution
All accepted book chapters will be published on Advent Publishing’s open-access scholarly publishing platform, with each chapter assigned a unique DOI to ensure global accessibility and citability. The book will be assigned ISBNs for both paperback and electronic formats and will be available for purchase on the Advent Publishing Online Bookstore.

Manuscript Processing and Publication Fee Policy
The Manuscript Processing fee or publishing fee of ₹1,500 is applicable only upon formal acceptance of the manuscript for publication. Authors should not make any payment during the manuscript submission process. Authors will be notified of the decision on the manuscript following the review process. Payment of the manuscript processing fee is required only after notification of manuscript acceptance.
